We currently have two spots open on our deposit lists for puppies. We are also still looking for a potential guardian home as well. Puppies are picked at 8 weeks old.

We had Violet's pre-whelp appointment and found out that there are 8 puppies on the way! Doctor said Violet looked great and that she expects them to be right on time to close out the year. We currently have 5 spots open on the waitlist for this litter. (We've had some families have personal setbacks come up.)
The pregnancy is confirmed! Violet's due date is the end of December and we will have an X-ray done near her due date to make sure we have an accurate puppy head count before she delivers. We hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving Holiday!
We are excited to announce that we will be breeding Violet to Crystal Creek's Remmy. Remmy is a solid black parti carrier, and UKC Champion with many performance titles. We are so excited to see how this breeding turns out.
Violet's VGL testing came back and we are uploading her info to BetterBred as well. BetterBred is a website that helps breeders analyze their VGL testing, and to make breeding plans according to what the current research and genetics tell us.
We are happy to announce that Violet has finally gone into heat. Now we do our testings and wait for the breeding to take place. After that we will do a confirmation ultrasound a little over 30 days after a successful breeding to confirm that the breeding took.
Happy Fall to you all!
We are waiting for Violet to go into heat for her next breeding, hopefully it should be soon! We haven't been able to show this year as all the UKC shows in Colorado were canceled; and traveling to out of state shows were not in the cards since we as a family have human kids to worry about as well with traveling and COVID. Fingers are super crossed that the Mother's Day show here in Colorado is a go, and if COVID numbers start looking better we may try traveling to some small shows close to us. Emmy and Quinn have really enjoyed their shorter summer/not showing clips this year though. Quinn and Emmy have also started doing some obedience training to try to keep socialization up through all of this COVID social distancing. We hope you all are doing well and we will keep you all updated on the breeding with Violet. Hi all!
Here at Fireside we are happy to announce that all of the puppies have found amazing families from Violet and Gus' last litter. And Jagger has found an amazing local co-own home with a great standard poodle brother for him to live and play with! We have our fingers crossed that the May and July dog shows won't be canceled this summer for Jagger, Emmy, and Quinn. We know many dog clubs have had to cancel shows due to the conditions our country is currently enduring with the COVID-19 virus. We hope everyone is doing okay in these trying times. I know many in our dog community are facing hard times with this pandemic and how we live our everyday lives. Echo, Tango and Zulu have been picked by our deposit holders on our waitlist. Bravo and Delta are available for the choosing!
Bravo is a very outgoing puppy who wowed the temperament assesor and conformation judge. He he has gorgeous conformation and would do well in a show, performance or pet home. Bravo is one of my kids' favorite puppies as he is playful and cuddly. Delta is a very sweet and smart little girl who is lower energy than her brothers and sisters. According to our assesors she would do great in a performance or pet home, she also has the potential to develop into a wonderful therapy dog. Delta loves her attention and cuddles with the my kids, and sits beatifully to get it. |
