Summer Hairstyle

Here in Colorado it has been a scorcher, with many days over 90 degrees. So, since Violet's UKC Grand Champion certificate came and made it official, we decided that Violet could sport a cooler look for the summer. Our amazing friend who is a master groomer, did an amazing job on her. This is the first time since she was a puppy that she hasn't had a banded top-knot. I can tell Violet is loving not having so much hair, she is bounding every which way like she's on springs! I am loving the low maintenance of the cut; brushing now takes a fraction of the time! We are getting ready for her next heat that should start up any day now! 
Here are some pictures from the very quick impromptu photo session we had to capture her new style. Violet is such a good sport, but you can tell by the end she was telling me enough photos already!
